eXp 5500 Data Transfer
In this tutorial, Frank Casser, OKMs detector and software trainer, walks you through connecting the OKM eXp 5500 control unit to your computer and transferring data to your hard drive for use with Visualizer 3D.
Quick Steps to Transfer Data
- Connect the USB Cable: Plug one end of the USB cable into your computer and the other end into the eXp 5500’s USB-C port.
- Open File Explorer: On your computer, open the File Explorer. Click the icon in the bottom right corner with a cable symbol to establish the connection between your PC and the eXp 5500.
- Access eXp 5500 Files: The eXp 5500 will appear as an external drive in File Explorer. Select the “3D ground scan” folder to view your files.
- Transfer Files: Copy the files and paste them into the desired location on your computer's hard drive.
- Finish: Once the files are transferred, you can open them in Visualizer 3D. To end the connection, simply close the communication by clicking the red “X” button.
With these easy steps, you’ll successfully transfer and access your eXp 5500 data for further analysis.
